About you
Detail-oriented and dependable Online Course Administrator with over 15 years of experience in educational administration, instructional design, and LMS support. Proven track record of supporting students and faculty in virtual learning environments, managing LMS platforms, resolving technical issues, and maintaining course quality and accessibility standards.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I’m looking for a role where I can combine my strengths in educational technology, organization, and learner support to make a meaningful impact. I enjoy being the bridge between students, instructors, and the systems that support them. I’m also looking for a collaborative environment where I can grow professionally and contribute to an innovative and well-run online learning program.
What you are interested in working with us?
What stood out to me about this opportunity is the focus on both the technical and human side of online learning. Supporting students and instructors in a way that makes the experience smooth, engaging, and accessible is exactly what I care about most. From the job description, it’s clear that your team values quality, communication, and learner success, and those values align perfectly with mine.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of the most challenging experiences I had was supporting students and instructors during a rapid shift to remote learning. Many users were unfamiliar with the LMS, and there was a high volume of support needs. I had to stay calm under pressure, quickly troubleshoot, and provide clear communication and training. While it was a demanding time, it deepened my problem-solving skills and strengthened my belief in the power of effective online course support.

Dear Hiring Team,
I’m excited to apply for the Online Course Administrator role. I bring almost 20 years of experience in online education, instructional support, and LMS administration, paired with a master’s degree in education and certifications in both Blackboard Administration and Quality Matters course design. My background includes managing course shells, supporting faculty and students, and ensuring a smooth and accessible learning experience from start to finish.
At Clark State Community College, Columbus City Schools, Total Education Solutions, and Columbus State Community College, I worked extensively with Canvas, Blackboard, and Google Classroom to build, maintain, and facilitate high-quality online courses. I’ve supported SIS integrations, developed training resources, conducted accessibility audits, and served as a go-to contact for both technical and instructional support. My approach is detail-oriented and collaborative; I love helping instructors feel confident in the LMS and making sure students can easily access and engage with course content.
I’m confident that my mix of hands-on experience, technical skills, and commitment to learner success makes me a great fit for this position. I’ve included my relevant experience on this application, and I’d be happy to share more about my approach to online course management and student/instructor support.
Thank you for considering my application.
Warmly,
Kelly Paulin
