About you
I have done my Ph. D (Organic Chemistry) at National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India (1993-1999). I have done my first post-doctoral research as AvH Fellow in University of Tuebingen, Germany. Then, I have done my second postdoctoral research at University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada for a year. Next, I moved to Univ. of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK as Postdoctoral Research Associate for more than 3.5 years. I worked in Syngene International Limited, Bangalore, India for about 16.5 years as team leader. I worked in Skandal Life Sciences, Bangalore for 1.5 Yrs as HOD.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I would like to contribute to drug discovery. I would like to continue as research chemist and support the synthesis of novel drug compounds.
What you are interested in working with us?
At present, I am looking for job. If I get any suitable job where I can use my chemistry knowledge to support any research activity.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
Variety of Synthesis (mg to Kg level) like building blocks, scaffolds, reference compounds, focus library, Carbohydrates, Lipids, Agro, and potential drug candidates. Each project was having different kinds of challenging targets to synthesize. As a team we did good job and got appreciation from the Clients.
Hello SIr,
I have done my Ph.D in Chemistry at University of Pune. I have done my three post-docs at Germany, Canada and UK for about 5.5 years. Then, I have joined Syngene International Limited as Group leader and managed various collaborations across the globe for 16.5 years both in FTE and FFS modes. I have managed my research groups both in Bangalore and Hyderabad Syngene sites. Then, I have joined Skanda Life Sciences to initiate the chemistry department. Assisted in setting up the new lab facility, recruitment and started function chemistry facility. Currently, I am looking for a suitable position to continue as research chemist.
