My name is T Thangbiaklal, I am 42 years of age with two kids. I started my transcription career in 2004 working for about 4-5 transcription providing organization in New Delhi. Currently, I am self-employed and seeking to for a suitable role working again in the field of transcription.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am looking for a suitable and flexible working schedule that can be manageable with me. I also want to further grow and build my career as a Legal Transcriber. Concurrently, I also want to experience working with different people, different environment and workspace. Learning and facing new challenges in working space is also what I am looking for.
What you are interested in working with us?
Working with new people and new working style would be one, I would say. Facing and coming across new opportunity challenges me a lot. To add further, I would say job opportunity and financial benefits by working with you also interests me.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of the most challenging would be when the audio/voice recording was not clear enough and the person dictating for the record speaks too fast. Secondly, when more than one person speak at same time.
As I mentioned earlier, I started my transcriptionist career in 2004 working with about 4 – 5 organizations starting from scratch as a fresher. I find it hard to understand the legal terminology used in worker’s injury related compensations, war veteran’s PTSD, mental health issues as well as family law. Gradually, learning and understanding along with experiences helped my career to a great extend in my transcription work.
My latest experience working as a transcriber is dealing/transcribing for Consultants in their search for various top roles and position for large companies. The positions like CEOs, CFOs, COOs, Presidents, Senior Vice President etc.
Having experienced with general, legal and corporate transcription fields really helped my knowledge of how this world works.
