To whom it may concern,

I am highly interested in a remote part time position as an archivist. I have obtained a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science with a concentration in archives/archival administration. In addition I have 3.5 years of librarianship experience, showcasing my professional work experience, education, and skills.

One of my favorite moments as a library service worker is the opportunity to be able to assist patrons of all ages in expanding their knowledge through resources such as books, movies, and/or audio books.  As a clerk, I have assisted in processing, weeding and changing labels on books within the children’s, teen, and adult sections of the libraries.

In addition, I am currently preparing to take the exam to become a Certified Archivist with the Society of American Archivists organization.

I am flexible in working nights and weekends. I look forward to interviewing with you soon.

Sincerest regards,

Bria Phillips
