I am an Actor, screenwriter, and Producer with forty-five years’ experience. I have written for film, theatre, TV, as well as over one hundred and fifty corporate videos and industrial theatre plays. I know my craft and the various genres. Over and above, I’m also an actor with a proud record. What are you looking for in a new role?
I’m looking for a new challenge that allows me to express my creativity in the best way I know. I have travelled a great deal in my career and am looking for a remote job that can keep me at home with my family, but still active in my field.
What you are interested in working with us?
I’m interested in consistent and ongoing remuneration for a job that challenges me and keeps my mind sharp. I know no other world other than the creative and performing arts, and, love to be constantly working on a number of projects. Ergo, I am looking for job satisfaction with a good income.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
There have been many challenges ranging from dealing with partners in various countries - who were not proficient in English and having to navigate between various cultural and religious differences. Creative differences are also a challenge sometimes, but ultimately a call has to be made for the good of the production.
To whom it may concern
I have been a professional Film, TV and Theatre practitioner since 1980. I do not hold a Bachelor’s degree, nor have I ever written reviews or articles for any publications. But I have written a lot of television episodes, feature films and plays; and over one hundred and fifty corporate video scripts. I have also acted in over one hundred professional productions and co-produced a series as well. It is the only industry I have ever known.
In short; after forty five years’ I know my craft and ‘am a master of the English and have a strong proficiency in German and Afrikaans, as well. I also know the classics and I’m quite happy to write you a test article.
In my last big project I was the creative producer on Russell The Red Panda, which not only entailed conceptualising and writing all the episodes, but also coordinating the project between partners in Bucharest, Teheran and Johannesburg
