Hi, I am Aiman Syakir Bin Abd Rahman interested in applying for the position of Designer.

Currently I am working as a piping drafter in RBI Tech Sdn. Bhd for drafting and designing the piping system. My skills include
- Drafting and design piping isometric drawing
- Performing line tracing at site for redline markup or line identification
- Generate 3D model which consist of piping, civil & structure and electrical elements
- Understand and interpret piping & instrument diagram (P&ID) for isometric preparation
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am looking for a role where I can apply my mechanical design background while developing stronger expertise in piping drafting. I want to contribute to projects in a practical and detail-oriented way, while also gaining more experience in industry standards and software related to piping design

What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of the most challenging experiences in my past role was handling design changes at a late stage of a project. I had to quickly adjust the drawings while ensuring accuracy and coordination with other disciplines. It taught me to stay adaptable, detail-oriented, and manage time effectively under pressure.

With a diploma in Plant Engineering Technology (Piping) from Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi Mara and more than three years of experience in drafting and piping design, I believe I can contribute effectively to your projects while continuing to expand my technical expertise.

In my current role at Organo Sdn. Bhd, I have been involved in designing water treatment and skid systems using software such as Autodesk Advance Steel, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Navisworks. I am responsible for preparing ISO drawings, general arrangement layouts, and performing site markups to ensure that designs reflect actual conditions. I also work closely with P&ID drawings to confirm process flow accuracy, and I have experience in developing as-built documentation.

Previously, I contributed to various large-scale projects with RBI Tech Sdn. Bhd., including plant modifications, firewater system as-built drawings, and piping design for utility and product lines. These projects gave me hands-on experience in coordinating with other disciplines, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering accurate drawings under tight schedules.
