About you
I am currently working as a freelance textile/print/pattern designer. I decided not to return to work after my second maternity leave as the 300 mile round trip commute was not sustainable anymore.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am looking for a remote role but I would enjoy travelling to the work place 1 or 2 times a week if needed. I would love to work on any briefs for print/pattern/surface design and I am available right away.

What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
Managing a team of 6 junior members was challenging as there were so many different characters and needs, however it was also very enjoyable and I learnt a lot from the experience. Creatively, the most challenging thing has been to learn to draw in a variety of different styles to cover a variety of briefs yet maintain the brand identity.
Hi there,
I am currently working as a freelance designer but a permanent or fixed term role would also suit me if the location was appropriate. I am based near Bath and I am aware there isn’t much in the local area. I could travel to London on a hybrid basis.
I have been working at Joules since 2012, I took a year out to work for an interior textile mill in Mumbai (suppliers to Sanderson, Prestigious, Clarke and Clarke, Harlequin, Ashley Wilde, Andrew Martin and many more). I have just finished my second maternity leave and have decided not to return to Joules as the commute was a 300mile round trip!
